This is just an image that was bouncing around in my head. I realized after i’d drawn the bee and carrot shapes that i needed something to make it interesting. From that, i decided to give the tablecloth a pattern, something i’d done before, but even then it was dull.

The coffee stain eventually came to me which not only tied the elements nicely.

And yes, carrots are purple. And orange. And yellow.
